ugh, this winter!
these photos were taken last easter:
easter 2012 was only one week later than it is this year.
and here is what it looks like outside as of yesterday:
stark. freaking. opposite.
i'm really really trying to have a good attitude and just be thankful. but i'm really really failing at this.
i'm striving to find beauty, inspiration, happy, hope. and here's what i've found:
so they went around.

i'm so blessed to have this handsome servant-brute to shovel our driveway and sidewalk.......
.......and to play outside with the kids when i don't feel like
now this is beautiful! i love these daisies. they are just so happy!
i made a fort in the playroom for the kids. we all thought it was so much fun! why is there such novelty in a silly 'fort' made out of just blankets in a room they already spend so much time in? i don't know, but i have to be crafty these days as we all have come down with terminal cabin fever.
check out the next couple of photos. the first is julian exiting the fort. as i was editing it, it totally reminded me of that second photo when he was six months old! uncanny, huh?? my goodness.
